An 1100 square foot 1&3/4 inch White Oak floor. The homeowner wanted to keep the floor continuous, which turned out to be a great idea. It gave the house a great flow and the floor turned out beautiful. The house had 5 rooms, 2 hallways, and an entrance way that all got hardwood. Keeping these rooms straight and even is a great challenge because it is rare that all the walls in this many rooms are at correct angles with each other. Set-up is absolutely key and took 1/2 a day in itself. In the end though, we spent less time by setting it up right than we would of trying to cover up framer's mistakes.
